Great pictures Nance, and any WT traveler should find his peacefull moments when visiting a place of pelgrimage!

Good to see him back on the pictures, we already mist him quite a bit after he left us...

Hi Everyone, Traveller smurf is already a few days here with me.
It was not possible to take pics outside because of the bad weather and i had to work a lot. So My dog Duplo was taking care of the WT smurf. :) :)

But today the weather was good and i took my camera and went with WT smurf to visit some places in the area were i life.
First i went to the harbour in Zeebrugge (10 km from my home)
I grew up there so Zeebrugge means a lot to me.
I visited the ship of my parents that came back last night from fishing.
It was very difficult to take pics of the smurf so use your glasses sometimes to search for him :) :) :)

On the other side of the Harbour in Zeebrugge there is a museum were you can visit a U-Boat and a old light ship called West-Hinder.
Lot of tourists visit these places.
Fisherman are very katholic and the picture were you can see the big red cross is dedicated to all sailors who lost their lives at sea.
Name of my brother is also on the big cross

Zeebrugge has the largest harbour with import of cars in Europe. In the background you can see a 5 floor depot for all new cars waiting for a new destination.
Second picture is the road to Heist (next to Knokke)
And also a beach view in Heist were you can see the harbour from Zeebrugge.
Zeebrugge is also well know from the big drama of the Herald of free Enterprise that capsized. Hundreds of people lots their lives (1986)
